Frequently Asked Questions


1.) What can you tell me about your canvas durability?
The quality of our canvas and ink is the same as found in the U.S. Library of Congress and other national archives. Most of our premium canvas (acid-free, polycotton blend with 400 gsm weight, and an approximate thickness of 0.56 mm) along with the ink and coatings, are specifically formulated to work together to provide the highest quality, longest lasting product available. We use the strictest industry standards when applying UV-testing on our production materials to ensure that these colors will remain as bright and vibrant a decade after your purchase as they did the day you received them. When treated with care, our canvas products will easily last a lifetime (+25 years).

2.) What sizes are available?
All sizes are listed for each piece on the associated product page. At the small end, we have canvas pieces as small as 12" x 12". Our large statement pieces are 55" or 59" [square], with custom pieces even larger. Some sizes are available for some artworks, and not available for others - depending on the sizing ratio of the original piece.

3.) Do you offer custom sizes?
Custom-size requests are handled on a case-by-case basis, depending on the artwork in question, along with destination and other variables. Please email us for more information.

4.) What options are available for your frames?
Our floating frame options come in contemporary black or a rich, classic walnut color. Our custom frames and mouldings for larger pieces have hundreds of configurations to choose from that encompass color, size, material, and more. Please email us for more information.

5.) What are the frames made of?
The internal frame material for for our gallery wraps is made from engineered wood and plastic to make them environmentally friendly and reduce weight, while maintaining durability. For large statement pieces or custom frames, we use genuine wood or metal for your frame, as per custom order.

6.) How should I hang the frame?
Most of our frames are delivered with pre-installed sawtooth hangers, allowing you to hang straight out of the box. Larger frames that are heavier, particularly our Statement-sized pieces, are delivered with pre-installed hanging wires to support the increased weight. For these heavier pieces, we recommend using a nail or screw driven into the wall stud to hang the frame from.

7.) Won't these frames damage my walls?
No. We use small felt or foam bumpers on the back corners of our frames to prevent them from touching your wall.

8.) How do I order a frame without the canvas?
Maverick & Blueberry is an art studio that does not offer empty frames without any artwork or canvas.

9.) How do I clean my canvas?
We recommend that you regularly dust your frame to prevent the build-up of dust and other particles. You may also wipe down the canvas gently with a damp cloth or micro-fiber. We do not advise the use of any cleaning solvent or liquid to the canvas surface directly.


10.) What are your mini prints made of?
Our mini prints are made of either white canvas or silver metallic paper (your choice) applied to a stiff reclaimed plastic backboard that is 1.5 mm thick. 

11.) What sizes are available?
At this time, our mini prints are available in six sizes:

  • 4" x 6"
  • 5" x 5"
  • 5" x 7"
  • 6" x 6"
  • 8" x 10"
  • 9" x 9"

12.) Do you offer mini prints in custom sizes?
Unfortunately not at this time.

13.) Can you custom print a photo I give you onto a mini print?
Yes! In fact this is one our most popular requests. Please email us to discuss process.


14.) How long are your production times?
The day you place your order is considered Day Zero, if it is a weekday. If you order on a weekend, then the following Monday is considered Day Zero. Thereafter, we require between one to three (1 to 3) business days to properly produce and frame your order as necessary.

15.) What are your shipping costs?
Currently all standard ground shipping within the USA is free! International customers also receive free shipping or a single flat-charge, depending on the product ordered.

16a.) How long are your shipping times?

Shipping depends on the product ordered, shipping method chosen, size and weight, customs and duties processes for any international orders, etc. Within the USA, our standard shipping partners are UPS and the United States Postal Service (USPS).

Standards UPS Ground delivery times to most of the United States is one to four (1 to 4) business days, with some regions such as Alaska, Puerto Rico, and the extreme Northeast requiring at least five business days.

Shipping times for destinations outside the USA vary based on product ordered and shipping options chosen, along with customs and duties processing in the country of destination.

For our Mini Prints specifically, delivery within the USA is via standard USPS and typically takes about a week. For Mini Prints being delivered to Canada, please expect upto three weeks (15 business days) for delivery after production.

16b.) Do you do expedited or rush deliveries?
Yes! Expedited UPS options including Next-Day Air, 2-Day Air are available either on the product page or by contacting us directly after you place your order. These are at an extra cost depending on desired option.

17.) Is tracking information available?
Yes! We provide UPS tracking information as soon as it is available - typically one to three business days after you place your order - and update your order status, with an automated email advising you of the tracking number. Orders (such as Mini Prints) that normally ship via United States Postal Service do not have tracking numbers available.
